HeadMeta creates <meta><\/code> \"description\" or \"keywords\" tags for individual\nposts or pages. It can also create arbitrary <meta><\/code> or <link><\/code> tags.\nThese are easily set on a per-post (or page) basis by simply adding Custom\nFields.<\/p>\n\n

  1. Upload the headmeta<\/code> folder and its contents to your wp-contents\/plugins<\/code> directory.<\/li>\n
  2. Activate in the Plugins<\/code> menu.<\/li>\n
  3. Add Custom Fields to your posts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    To use this plugin, you add key\/value pairs in the Custom Fields section\nwhen you create or edit a post or page. If you enter description<\/code> or \n keywords as the name of the key, HeadMeta will automatically generate an\nappropriate <meta><\/code> \"description\" or \"keywords\" tag in the head of your\nHTML.<\/p>\n\n

    If you need to create arbitrary <link><\/code> or <meta><\/code> tags, you can use\n\"head_link<\/code>\" and \"head_meta<\/code>\" as the key. Whatever you enter as the value for\nthat custom field will be plugged into the generated <link><\/code> or <meta><\/code> tag.\nFor example, if you added the following keys and values:<\/p>\n\n

    KEY<\/strong>: head_link<\/code>\n VALUE<\/strong>: rel=\"seealso\" href=\"http:\/\/example.com\/movies\/\"<\/code><\/p>\n\n

    KEY<\/strong>: head_meta<\/code>\n VALUE<\/strong>: name=\"keywords\" content=\"entertainment,movies\"<\/code><\/p>\n\n

    This would generate two tags in the of the page when someone visited\nthe permalink for the post:<\/p>\n\n
